Yes — GainBrain has a free tier that includes one news feed with daily summaries. No credit card required. A Pro plan is available at $4.99/month for users who want multiple feeds, custom schedules, real-time event alerts, and AI personalization.

Free accounts include 1 feed. Pro accounts include up to 5 feeds. Each feed is independently configurable with its own prompt, schedule, and settings.

Free users get daily summaries at 8 AM in their timezone. Pro users can choose from:

• Daily — every morning at 8 AM
• Weekly — Monday mornings, covering the past 7 days
• Custom — specific days and times of your choosing
• Event — instant alert when something specific happens (checked hourly)
• Manual — on-demand only, via the dashboard

Yes — Pro users can create "Event" feeds that check for specific topics or developments every hour. When something matches, you get an email immediately. There's a 6-hour cooldown per feed to prevent alert fatigue.

GainBrain pulls from 268 RSS feeds across 47 categories including technology, business, finance, politics, science, health, sports, and more. Sources include major publications and niche outlets. Pro users also get real-time enrichment from live web search and X (Twitter) data at summary time.

GainBrain uses a two-stage AI pipeline. First, a fast model scans article titles and descriptions to rapidly filter irrelevant content. Then a reasoning model performs deep analysis on the remaining articles, reading the full content and comparing against your prompt. Only articles that genuinely match make it into your summary.

You can cancel anytime from your billing portal — go to your Profile page and click "Manage Billing." Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial-month refunds, but you keep full access until the period ends.

Go to the password reset page and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a minute. The link expires after 24 hours. If you signed up with Google, you don't have a password — use "Sign in with Google" instead.
